Glass Igloo

The spectacular Glass Igloos are located on the Arctic Circle with only a short drive from the centre of Rovaniemi, each pod measures approximately 20sq metres and features heated floors and bathroom; the thermal glass roofs offer what the hotel owners call “all-sky” views and you can enjoy as much as you like the northern lights, staring at the sky.

The roof of the igloo is made from electrically heated glass, which means the glass will not cool the space; rather it maintains evenly distributed warmth while melting all the snow and ice off the roof to give you excellent view to the sky.
Enormously increase your chance of spotting the legendary Northern. The glass igloos are fitted with the Aurora Alarm service that immediately sounds an alarm to the igloos when the northern lights can be seen in the sky.

Arctic Snowhotel

The Snowhotel features standard rooms which accommodate two, three, five and six persons, all rooms including electric lighting and the walls with the furniture surfaces are decorated with ice art and illuminated artwork. There are many different room types including triple rooms, family rooms, suites and a triple suite which you are able to choose from.

SnowHotel offers you an overnight stay that includes a guided tour of SnowHotel, personal overnighting instructions, high quality and warm arctic sleeping bags with fleece linings, shower and toilet facilities, wake-up with hot drink served in your room, breakfast in the Lumikartano Restaurant, and a certificate of achievement celebrating your overnight stay in arctic conditions inside walls made of snow and ice.Yuo are able to request aurora alarm from the reception if you wish to be woken up in the middle of the night in case the aurora borealis are dancing in the sky!
