The Marriott International luxury hotels group has announced that there is to be a new property under the Renaissance brand. The Renaissance Shanghai Caohejing Hotel has opened with more than 380 luxury rooms and suites, and will be run alongside the Shanghai Caohejing Park Huagang Properties Ltd. This is the sixth hotel in Shanghai for this particular brand. The hotel is ideally located in the central part of the city and is perfect for both business and leisure travellers. It is also not too far away from the international airport.
The new hotel will have a Presidential Suite. All rooms have been styled to be comfortable and luxurious and have all the amenities that guests would expect, including all of the latest entertainment technologies. The décor is Chinese but has been given a Western twist, and the large windows ensure plenty of natural light. There are plenty of meeting rooms for business travellers and there are also function rooms for special occasions.
The hotel will have no less than four restaurants and there is a lounge for relaxation. Much of the cuisine is traditional Chinese, but there are some dishes that have been given a Western flavour. The hotel will also be operating a round the clock fitness centre, which will have all the latest in exercise equipment and a swimming pool. There will be personal trainers for those who want assistance and guests will then be able to head to the luxury spa to relax and be pampered.
