The Rezidor group of luxury hotels has just announced that it is to open the Radisson Blu Hotel in Chisinau in Moldova. The group is undergoing a large expansion programme and this hotel is just one part of that. The hotel currently has 145 luxury rooms but it is to undergo a complete renovation before reopening under the new brand in 2013. The CEO of Rezidor is delighted with the latest acquisition and this is the first hotel in Chisinau that is part of an internationally known brand.
The country is undergoing a great deal of modernisation and there is plenty of investment being made in its infrastructure, so in years to come it is expected that tourism is going to increase. Luxury hotels such as this will be in demand. Chisinau is the capital city of Moldova and as such has one of the strongest economies in the country. This is expected to grow and other areas of the country are set to follow suit.
The hotel will also offer a number of luxury suites and all guests will be able to enjoy a variety of signature services, such as the free internet access. The hotel will have two bars and a restaurant, and a wellness centre with fitness facilities and spa treatments. Business travellers will be able to make use of the meeting facilities and event space. The location of the hotel will be perfect both for business and leisure travellers, as it is close to all of the city’s main attractions and commercial areas.
