The popular Thai resort of Koh Samui is now home to a new hotel brand. The Centara group of luxury hotels and resorts is to take over the management of the Coconut Villa Resort & Spa, which will become the Centara Coconut Beach Resort Samui. The change took place at the beginning of the month.
The group is delighted with its latest acquisition and aims to extend the Centara brand throughout the country. The Centara group is Thai based and already has a number of luxury hotels there. The new property has a total of 55 rooms and there is a restaurant that offers all day dining. Guests can relax by one of the two swimming pools and the resort can be found on the Thong Tanote Beach, which is on the southern part of the island. Diving and snorkelling are popular pastimes in the area for those taking luxury holidays on Koh Samui.
The hotel has 24 rooms that give direct access to the swimming pools, and there are plenty of outdoor areas where guests can relax and enjoy the sun. Many rooms have balconies and there are several villas that have a Jacuzzi and terrace. The spa facilities are ideal for those who need to relax and return home from their luxury holidays feeling rejuvenated. There is a range of value treatments that are ideal for those who just want to try one or two different options. Guests will also be able to enjoy a variety of cuisines served in the restaurants.
