New hotel for Beijing

20 June 2012

It is estimated that the Rosewood Beijing hotel will be ready for its first guests by the middle of 2013. This will be the first property for the Rosewood group of luxury hotels in China. The group has planned an expansion throughout Asia for the next few years. Rosewood luxury hotels aim to give guests ‘A Sense of Place’, which is the group’s philosophy on integrating local culture and history into the building.

Guests will also be able to enjoy the landscaped grounds, which are to be larger than any other hotel in the city, and there will be terraces and balconies in many parts of the hotel. Guest rooms will be a minimum of 50 square metres, making them some of the largest hotel rooms in the city. Window seats will allow visitors to enjoy the views, and features such as walk-in wardrobes and large bathrooms add to the sense of space.

With a total of seven restaurants and lounges, there are many cuisines to choose from for dining. There are also dining suites for complete privacy and relaxation, which can also be found in the hotel’s spa. This is ideal for those taking luxury holidays in the region. The spa treatments have been designed to reflect Chinese traditions, and this will be the first Rosewood branded spa in the country. Spa suites, where guests can stay overnight, are also included in the design of the spa. Fitness facilities will include a yoga studio, fully equipped gym and a pool.
