The American based Marriott hotel company has announced that it is opening three more Thai hotels this year. These are the Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, The Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok – Sukhumvit Thonglor and the Rayong Marriott Resort and Spa. These properties are added to an already extensive Thailand portfolio for the company, which opened its first hotel in the country 15 years ago. It is also planning to expand its portfolio further in the next three to five years, with a proposed five further hotels planned.
Both business guests and tourists can share the benefit of these luxury hotels in one of the most luxury destinations in the world. The tourist business in Thailand is booming, and therefore Marriott aims to keep its partnership with the country going long-term.
The Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit is a 296-room property that is packed with business facilities. Its location, close to the BTS Sky train station, also makes it ideal for those on a working holiday or purely business to use as a base. The Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok – Sukhumvit Thonglor is perfect for extended stays and can be found in the same building as the Bangkok Marriott Sukhumvit.
It offers a full service, as one would expect from luxury hotels. The Rayong Marriott Resort and Spa is a 206-room property that is situated on the beach at Mae Phim; it is a great place for relaxation and is perfect for those who want to feel a little pampered on their luxury holiday, and the views of the ocean are wonderful.
