The Interstate Hotels & Resorts group is to expand its portfolio with a new luxury property in Dublin. The new hotel is The Marker, which will also be an apartment complex. This new hotel can be found in the heart of the city and it is expected that the hotel will open in early 2013. This will be the 27th hotel for the group in Europe. Other hotels in the portfolio include the Rajasthali Resort & Spa in India and the J Hotel at Shanghai Tower in China.
The group has gained a strong reputation for the management of boutique and luxury hotels in a variety of luxury destinations around the world. The newest hotel will cover eight floors of a famous landmark building in the city and will include both penthouses and suites. There will be a restaurant and bar, and guests who want to feel pampered can head towards the spa. There will be an infinity pool which stretches for 23 metres, and everything else that guests could want.
The city of Dublin is one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities and tourism continues to grow each year. The hotel is ideally located to attract both leisure and business travellers and is close to all of the attractions of the city, such as the entertainment and cultural districts. It is expected that the new property will set the standard for other hotels in the vicinity.
