The Greenwich district of New York is to become home to a new luxury hotel. The building was formerly the Howard Johnson Hotel and is now owned by the Brenwood Hospitality Group. The hotel is to be the J-Hotel and it will also be home to the eleven14 Kitchen, which is destined to be one of the area’s top eateries with a menu that is traditionally American with a contemporary twist. Guests will be able to enjoy some of the finest produce that the local area has to offer.
The design of the lobby of the latest of New York’s luxury hotels has been given a gallery look, with artworks projected onto the walls and the check-in desk has a stainless steel finish. The area also includes a library and a contemporary fireplace.
The hotel has 86 rooms and these include a combination of the latest technology and luxurious furnishings. The rooms all have iPad controls and top-of-the-range TVs. The hotel will also be ideal for guests in the area on business, as there is plenty of event and meeting space available. Guests taking luxury holidays at the hotel can make use of the excellent room service menu and the fitness suite.
There is also an outdoor area for those who want to simply relax, which is protected very well from the elements and can be used for much of the year. In addition there are to be landscaped gardens and a swimming pool, making the hotel one of the area’s top luxury destinations.
