Holidays to Paris

Paris holidays really do have something to offer everyone. This iconic tower has three floors open to the public and houses two restaurants. At night, the tower looks breathtaking, as it stands floodlit against the black sky.

In addition to the Eiffel Tower, Paris has many other interesting landmarks that should not be missed. Sacré Coeur is the place to go for breathtaking views of the entire city or you could pay a visit to the Opera Garnier for some stunning architecture. Another famous landmark that should not be missed is Chateau de Versailles, a stunning chateau where Louis XIV once lived. This is the perfect destination for anyone interested in learning more about France’s rich history.

Yet another world famous landmark is the Notre Dame de Paris, which is more commonly known as Notre Dame Cathedral. This stunning structure is perhaps best known for being the inspiration for the 1831 novel ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’, by Victor Hugo. The cathedral is worth a visit simply for its stunning architecture, enormous stained glass windows and the numerous gargoyles that decorate its exterior.

Holidays in Paris would not be complete without a visit to the city’s most perfect family attraction, Disneyland Paris. Located in Marne-la-Vallée, Disneyland Paris provides everything you need for the perfect family outing. The resort is home to Walt Disney Studios Park, which packs in a variety of attractions that are sure to provide a fun day out for all the family.

Of course, being the capital of France, there are numerous bars, clubs and first class restaurants where visitors can indulge themselves, whatever the time of day or night. Perhaps one of the most enjoyable pastimes is to sit at a pavement café, sipping a coffee or a glass of wine, whilst taking in the stunning sights of Paris.
