Holidays to Disneyland Paris
Few children grow up without exposure to Disney’s beloved characters. Visitors on holidays to Disneyland Paris can anticipate running into a few of them as they explore the theme park. Disneyland does not duplicate the roving ambassadors throughout the park but it is a delicious chance to spy Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Snow White, and other cast members dancing down a lane in Fantasyland, posing with visitors at an Adventureland attraction or making new friends in Discoveryland. Parents can ensure children see their favourites by checking character schedules in any store or general information desk.
Disneyland Paris holidays are a delightful exploration of two parks and a shopping district. Shopping options are numerous in the Disney Village while the best rides are in Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Paris.
Visitors on holidays in Disneyland Paris will be captivated first by Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant - "Sleeping Beauty's Castle." It dominates the landscape of the Park and a hole in the mound in front of the castle leads to the Dragon Cave, where an animated dragon lays huffing and puffing in his sleep.
Guests on holidays in Disneyland Paris can expect exceptionally clean grounds, excellently maintained rides, and amazing audio-animatronics that bring characters to life. Some of the most exciting rides in Disneyland Park are; Space Mountain 2 (Disneyland Park) where shrieks can be heard as passengers hurtle around the mountain on a twisting track, or Big Thunder Mountain (Frontierland), another rough and tumble roller coaster ride. Then head over to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril (Adventureland), which is a hair-raising ride in the tradition of the intrepid explorer.
Pirates of the Caribbean (Adventureland) is one the park’s most popular rides. It is a water ride through the world of pirates and a sprinkling of humour is apparent in some of the scenes while a gun battle between pirate ships blazes on the horizon. Another water ride that appeals to the younger crowd is the, “It’s A Small World” attraction, with its catchy tune, colourful costumes and apple-cheeked characters.
The futuristically minded voyagers on holidays to Disneyland Park, head to Discoveryland where there is the Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast ride where each passenger receives a laser pistol for firing at illuminated targets. Also try out the flight simulation in Star Tours.
Other visitors will find themselves enthralled with offerings in the Walt Disney Studio Park. Raise the hairs on the back of the neck with the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or try to find Nemo on Crush’s Coaster. The one essential ride is the Rock n‘ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith. This is an indoor roller coaster with the music of Aerosmith to complete the experience. The acceleration is phenomenal, the acoustics are unbelievable, and it is just plain fun.
